Hello, my name is Cole, and I am a counselling intern completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology through City University. I provide counselling at Through the Woods Psychology under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist. My experience working in the developmental disabilities field has shaped my deep respect for neurodiversity, emotional expression, and the many ways people make meaning in their lives. I bring a warm, grounding presence to my work and am dedicated to creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and safe to explore what matters most to them. I’m so glad you’re here and grateful to be part of your journey!
I work collaboratively with clients, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and understood. I value curiosity, empathy, and respect for each individual’s unique experiences. My approach blends evidence-based techniques with personalized support, helping clients explore emotions, develop coping strategies, and build strengths to navigate life’s challenges. I aim to empower clients to foster self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful growth.
I am committed to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive care. I respect and honour each person’s unique background, identity, and experiences, and strive to create a space where all clients feel seen, valued, and understood.
