Hello, my name is Amy, and I am a Registered Psychologist in Alberta with seven years of experience providing counselling services. She takes a strengths-based, client-centered approach, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. Amy welcomes clients from all backgrounds and is an LGBTQ+ ally. Amy is passionate about helping clients achieve their wellness goals.

I believe in meeting clients exactly where they are, honoring their unique experiences, perspectives, and pace of growth.  My approach is grounded in collaboration – I see our work as a partnership where your voice, goals, and values guide the process.  Together, we identify meaningful objectives and move toward them in a way that feels realistic and empowering.  I strive to create a supportive, respectful and safe environment where you feel heard, understood, and encouraged to explore new possibilities.  Growth is not linear, and I am committed to walking alongside you, adapting as needed, and celebrating progress in all its forms.

MEd, Registered Psychologist

Amy Decelles

I chose to become a psychologist because it felt like a natural extension of who I have always been. Throughout my life, I have found myself drawn to supporting others – listening, offering perspective and helping people navigate through their challenges. Over time, I realized that this instinct to help was not just a tendency, but a calling. Pursuing psychology allowed me to deepen those skills with knowledge, intention and ethical responsibility. It gives me a meaningful way to continue doing what has always come naturally to me: walking alongside others as they work towards understanding, healing and growth.
