Hello, my name is Taylor, and I am a Registered Psychologist. My journey into counselling began after I worked as a behaviour specialist in the developmental disability support field. With a heart full of compassion, I now offer supportive, thoughtful guidance to individuals in the community, helping them explore their true selves, build new skills, and navigate the ups and downs of mental health. I believe deeply in the power of connection and empathy, and approach counselling with warmth and openness. Drawing from a mix of different therapeutic approaches, I tailor my support to fit the unique needs of each person, always creating a space where healing and growth can thrive.

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me enjoying a good book, practicing yoga, or exploring new artistic endeavors—embracing the beauty of self-care along the way. Anyone looking to learn more about themselves, build a safe space to discuss challenges, discover life skills, and engage with their mental wellbeing would be great clients for my approach to practice. I work with you to make this work best for you. Never been to counselling before? I can work

with you to see how counselling may work for you! Whether you are looking for crisis, exploration, or maintenance counselling, I am able to adapt, create safety, and welcome you to this journey.

My approach to therapy is individualized, meaning I focus on each client’s personal needs/preferences within the therapy room. I don’t rely on a single model but rather draw from different approaches depending on what fits each person and moment. My approach is shaped by my belief that meaningful change comes from how we relate to ourselves, and that this can be explored and shifted within a safe therapeutic relationship.

I aim to fully validate emotional experience without minimizing it, clearly acknowledge patterns and strengths as they are, and support enough distance from internal narratives to see them more clearly.
Therapy with me focuses on understanding internal patterns, especially self-relational ones, and working collaboratively to create more flexibility, self-understanding, and choice over time.
I was drawn to this profession through my background in neuroscience and a long-standing curiosity about how the brain shapes the way we think, feel, and respond to the world. Over time, that interest shifted from understanding the brain as an abstract system to wanting to help people work with their own patterns in a more practical, lived way.

What continues to motivate me is the idea that the same systems that can create distress can also be understood and redirected in ways that support change. I’m interested in helping people learn how their mind works in a way that makes it feel less adversarial and more usable, so the brain becomes something we can work with rather than something that feels predetermined for us.
Therapy, for me, is where science and human experience intersect in a deeply meaningful way.
