Hello, I'm Michelle, a Registered Psychologist. I started my career in the not-for-profit sector working with clients in home and long-term care settings, particularly with children and teens with behavioral disorders. During this time, I gained extensive experience supporting parents and working with clients experiencing oppositional defiant disorder and conduct disorder. I also began working in private practice in 2019 where I worked with a diverse range of clients and their concerns.

I am passionate about supporting the growth and healing of my clients and offer practical strategies aimed at cultivating real change. I believe strongly in working collaboratively with support systems to promote overall positive well-being.

Ever feel stuck? My goal is to help guide you through. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative partnership where we walk side-by-side through life’s challenges. I use a strength-based approach, starting from the belief that you already have inherent tools—my role is to provide the skillful, practical strategies needed

to turn those strengths into lasting change. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and am a LGBTQ+ ally. I value a collaborative therapeutic relationship where you, the client, are involved in goal setting and treatment planning in order to best fit your unique needs and strengths.

I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel safe to open up and empowered to shift old patterns. Whether I’m working with children, families, or adults, I’m passionate about celebrating every victory and equipping you with the skills to keep winning long after our sessions end.
My path into psychology was fueled by a mix of academic curiosity and navigating my own personal challenges. These experiences created a heartfelt mission to help others move through their own "woods" and come out the other side stronger. I founded Through the Woods to ensure that no one has to navigate their healing journey alone.

I am committed to providing a therapeutic environment that is inclusive, respectful, and culturally responsive. I recognize that everyone’s journey is shaped by their unique identity and lived experience. I approach every session with a sensitive lens, aiming to understand the complexities of your world without judgment and ensuring our work together honors your specific values and community connections.
